This delightful ballet tells the story of Dr. Coppelius, a toymaker and magician, who attempts to bring life to his beautiful doll, Coppelia. He is followed by the mischievous Swanilda, who masquerades as Coppelia and saves her lover Franz from the doctor's magic.

Coppelia is a gift from the Volunteer Committee, Burlington School of Classical Ballet. According to the school's character, the show is based on a classical ballet repertoire designed to the student's level of advancement.

As a teacher and the greatest fan of my students, I would like to assure you that each one of them dancing for you, deserves a lot of credit for the hard work and truly magnificent approach toward this, one of the most challenging and beautiful forms of art.
